Property In Singapore

 

Singapore is a country where one can be able to find different types of properties and not only one type of property. The property investor can decide to keep the property or sell the property. Singapore has different types of properties like residential properties. Residential properties are divided into three categories housing and development units, landed and the private apartments. 

 

Large numbers of people in Singapore live in the housing and development board units and they are within the housing estates while others live in private apartments and landed properties. Emigrants always have some ownership restrictions on private apartments and landed properties and these rules have been set up by the government of Singapore. If one is a Singapore resident one is at liberty to own and stay in any of these properties.

 

The government classified the private apartments as condominium or apartments. There is a very big difference between private apartments and condominium. Condominiums are very big and spacious inside and they are accompanied with a lot of facilities. The private apartments are so small and the facilities that it has it cannot be compared with condominium. Some of the facilities that the condominiums have are tennis court, playground for children, gym, squash court, park lot and many more. Apart from that the condominium has a security guard that is appointed for security purpose and he guards the whole building night and day.

 

Landed properties include shop house, bungalow, semi detached house, terraced house and terraced house. The reason as to why landed property are referred as landed is because the title of the property is usually tied with the land. If there is something that is so limited in Singapore is land, and it is very expensive. The most expensive lands are the ones which are near the city or capital city of Singapore.

 

HDB flats are constructed and maintained by the housing and the development board. The government of Singapore had to subside the financing and purchasing of the flat units. The HDB apartments are normally built in very large estate and most of them are self contained. Housing estates usually have maximum amenities around the estates like hotels, library, playgrounds, schools, supermarkets and many more.

 

The type of property in Singapore that one can be in a position to rent is the condominium. What really matters a lot is your budget one can either choose a condominium in a prime location or one can decide to pick it somewhere in the heartlands.

 

The condominiums in Singapore are usually found mostly in the central business district, west coast and East coast areas. If one decides to rent a condominium in the central business and in the outskirts their prices are not the same they vary. Because in the central business the price of a condominium cost are high. Location really matters a lot when it comes to searching of property in Singapore.
