In such events, the sellers of property are usually in a hurry to sell off the property at low prices, and this might be the ideal place for you to get a good property at a not so high cost. The other advantage of getting a building in such a place is because there are no brokers in such events, so you deal directly with the owner of the property. This minimizes chances of you being conned or the likelihood of spending excessive money on middlemen. You might want to consider this as an option in finding Singapore property.


The third way in which you can find Singapore property is to look for them in the Singaporean local dailies. This is a very common method of advertising, as it is cheap and available to all. However, one major drawback of this method is the fact that finding space in the classified section is quite hard, and because of this it is rare to find actual pictures of the property advertised. In cases where you are lucky to find a picture of one or two of the properties, the pictures are almost always in black and white.

Therefore, you might not be able to have the mental picture of what you want before going for the actual viewing of the same. You also need to be careful when finding Singapore property in the newspapers, as the validity of such properties is not fully guaranteed. Therefore, do not jump into signing a deal simply because it was in the newspaper. You should go the extra mile and do a search fro the government records.


If you still are not satisfied with all the above methods, the involving a real estate agent who is certified will do. However, be careful not to rush for the first deals that come your way. Be patient and calm, so that you will not make a choice that you will regret later.
