MySpace is a web site that provides social networking platform. MySpace is an interactive, user-submitted network of friends and offers personal profiles, blogs, groups, photos, music, and videos for teenagers and adults around the globe. MySpace touched the height of fame in 2006 June in United States. MySpace has 1000 employees and this company does not disclose the revenues and profits separately from News Corporation. According to an estimation around 100 millionth accounts was created on August 9 2006 in Netherlands which was a remarkable achievement.

MySpace first users were e-universe employees and a contest was placed to check who can sign up most users. Company used maximum resources to advertise this contest and marketing of this social networking site a success. E-universe got 20 million users very fast. MySpace redesigned the whole web page. They offered a new layout and functions. They redesigned the user home page and added new features like status updates, applications and subscription. MySpace and facebook are true competitors and both are trying to drag more users by offering exciting features and amazing outlook. MySpace updated its MySpace music along with updated version of MySpace profile.

MySpace offers moods feature which allows emoticon that show the mood of the user and this feature was added in July 2007. MySpace profile carries two standard blurbs one is known About Me and other is Who I’d Like to Meet. Profile offers a space to users where they can write about their interests and details. Details section carries the information regarding your status and zodiac sign. Profile offers a blog with standard fields of content, emotion and media. It also provides the users and option to upload images and users can comment on the images. Blogging feature is pivotal part of MySpace and users can upload can share, upload and comment on videos.

Users can leave comments for their friends. If users delete their profile a message is no longer visible there and when tried to search the deleted profile it is shown that that profile is no longer visible. MySpace offers variety of features like bulletins that show messages regarding politics and religion. It is also featuring a Groups and MySpace IM options that are fun to use and makes the communication better.
MySpace also has the feature of MySpace TV and this service resembles to YouTube service. MySpace offers almost every interesting feature and it is a pleasure to use.
