Many citizens of Singapore do not like going in to the construction and marine industries and this is the reason why the Government of Singapore is looking for and accepting an increasing number of foreigners who are willing to get in to these fields. The Government of Singapore has also decided to permit foreigners to work in services and production. However, it will not allow foreigners to work in stalls and small retail stores. Apart from your salary, you may also receive other allowances.

If you have decided to move to Singapore to work in the country then you will have to prepare yourself not only physically but also mentally for living in Singapore is going to be very different from the life in your own home country. First of all, you will not know any one in Singapore so you will have to depend on yourself to get every little thing done. When you arrive in Singapore, you will have to look for accommodation where you would be staying. Of course, many companies would help you out in accommodation but it is always wise to ask, regarding accommodation, before you actually arrive in Singapore. If you are thinking of buying or renting a car during your stay in Singapore then let me remind you that you may have to spend quite a lot of money on maintaining a car. So it is always recommended that you use public transport as public transport is not only easy to use but also very convenient.
