Property dealing in Singapore

Macquarie’s Group of Property has taken an initiative which involves 235.75 units in million acquisitions and it is approximately equal to 25%. This investment has been made in Singapore REIT Prime and the price of the purchase is expected to be between 0.98 to 0.93 Singapore Dollars per unit. This will have a definite impact on the Macquarie bank’s position in capital.
 Macquarie’s investment in Singapore REIT Prime only reflects the amount of confidence that the bank has in the potential investment of Property market in Singapore. Not only in Property market but the bank also realizes the strength in the underlying properties.
  
Two primary assets that Macquarie targeted are Singapore REIT’s Prime Wisma Atria which accommodates Shopping and Office complexes and Ngee Ann City. These are top end retails malls which occupy prime location across the Singapore’s premiere tourist and shopping precinct. Both brand posses strong value in the market and well renowned. Both centers have been awarded a status of “Super brand” for the category Shopping Centre in Singapore Super Brands awards in the year 2004 and 2005. Also, Ngee Ann City acclaimed “Best Shopping Experience” award from the Tourism Board of Singapore and Ngee Ann City has won this award for the last six years consecutively between year 1999 and 2004.
